 i ahve never had so many  red admirals in my garden at once for a long long time.. was so chuffed.. sorry so many pictures.. couldnt help myself

i also stayed signed in .. makes it easier to get here faster.. thou i also found at times it doesnt take me to first unread page... the top advert bothers me at times.. as i hover over my section under my name it alwasy brings up the damn thing..

thanks guys..

@david... some very impressive veg there.. needless to say our runner beans didnt do so well.. had them in wrong place i think. also had swede this year but have eaten them too..

@pam... our peas did well too.. no piccie as have eaten them all.. have planted some late cropper ones thous.. so ready in next month or so.. they ave done well theis year.. with all the rain..

@lilly.. those raspberries look very yummy..  not got room for soft fruit yet.. but middle of building new raised bed for them so next year hopefully we will hve some.

will add more piccies as i get them.. must remember to take them first..

well we were promised rain for hre for last two days.. yesteray some rain in the afternoon.. nothin major appeared adn today no rain at all.. just few spit spots at times.. ver hot and muggy again this weekend..

the first one looks like a Round Leaf Eucalyptus.. but not sure...

i woudl say the second it a chestnut tree.. the leaves are not pointy enough and have 5 per stem.. for a rodgersia..

i have just got e-mail from bee conversation that hte bee in my top picture is a male field cuckoo bumblee... and they are not so common.. so very pleased i contacted them..

Hi everyone.. i know it has not been a good year for the gardener this year.. but we sowed some carrots and this year has been a bumper lot.. this is a picture of our best looking carrot ever...
