i would plant.. penstemons... sedum... echinacea...day lilly...  weigelia (for some form) cransebill geraniums.. grannys bonnets... primulas (shaded by large plants) i could go on but yur bed is not large enough.. i like a mix of all those and flowers throughout year then.. and of course some bulbs..

What's the weather like in your area?

Posted: 23/08/2012 at 18:38

it has been scorching today.. i got sun burnt in the garden again..  have got all 2 loads of washing dry and far too hot in greenhouse to pot up things that need it right now..

waiting for the rain.. were supposed to have had some otehr afternoon.. but nothing.. hopefully tomorrow so it can fill my water butts up again as 2 are now empty..  the lawn also needs some of it to get its green look back.. yesterday at Osbourne House.. and it was very hot there.. but did apply sun cream so didnt get burnt..

lawn brown ead and dying patches...

well... i saw the boss... told him my concerns and and thoughts and how it happened to my lawn.. asked htem about other clients who complained the same too.. and after a rather heated discussion.. they have given me the rest of this years treatments free of charge and 50% off next year.. and will replace any lawn that does not grow back properly..

what a result.. thou they are still not omitting responsibility for the damage but are giving me this as a sign of good will..  that kinda of response is actually omitting it to me.. but i am happy with that result..just wish i could find out all the others and ge them to go for it..
