Flippin' pigeons

Posted: 30/05/2012 at 19:08

i also have them in my garden.. and they are a nightmare.. but as i have suet pellets out for other birds they seem to just hang around under those now and leave plants alone.. thou they do keep going into the greenhouse if i leave door open after dusk.. but i do have a very angry blackbird in the garden..always facing upto the pegions and chasing them off.. it is so daft.. the pigeons leg it when he is about... oh and htey do not like the seagull that is nesting on our flat roof.. they seem to keep even the rooks and cats away.

Help - pricing toms

yes selling out.. i had to plant some more runner beans as sold all extra ones and had people wanting more... so i planted up extra 20 for them at 25p each and htey went... very fast.. only cost me compost.. so not worried.. as they bought some flowers plants at same time..

i ahve to say i sold £52 worth of plants in last 3 days.. amazed.. everyone is starting to think about their tubs and summer colour.. amazing what a little sunshine will do. and they are all 3 for £1.50 or the larger perennials are £1.00 each.. so all plants have nearly gone.. so not so much to water now

@debbie11.. yes leave doors and windows open.. i have had mine open through the night as well.. thou close door slightly as the pesky sea gull gets in there..

also..and this may sound strange.. but is use old net curtains to shade mine.. they still let light in and are cheaper than proper shading.. and i just hold in with insulation clips..  thou on one side that gets full sun all day it has proper stuff on outside as easier to fit..

@inkadog.. well they look good.. i love natural stuff in the garden
