@obelixx.. many thanks for you pictures and overall review of chelsea.. although i am very disaapointed with the coverge this year.. the gardens that i have seen are good, though the planting theme has been quite loose this year.. more on structures rahter than plants..

i have to admit i am loving the use of dry stone walling this year.. it is so beautiful to look at and so natuarl... i do not like the red wooden structures on Joe's garden at all.. too dominating for me.. and Andy's garden is very good.. love the use of different materials yet all tie together.. the structure in the water is growing on me alittle.

i love the water feature in thte garden i can not recall.. it is black and just pops up with a ring of ripple and spreads out.. that is very good.

the cacti stand and carniverous plant stand are great.. not been showed them on tv and love the arranged flower photos.. not seen any of them on tv either except one alans litle table.. my also love the big snail ornament.. great!

but overall it does seem the buddies of Mr Titchmarsh are getting a very lot of coverage..  it really has been the worst coverage this year..

@shrinking Violet.. i dunno why.. but as soon as the sun is out.. its "lets get the barbi out" today..  to end up with burnt sausages etc..what about cooking when its not out.

i think it goes back to the early man.. when they would make a fire and cook on it.. it is a natural instinct.. shame they do not the gas hob burner in the smame light

@wintersong..your welcome

I must admit that i have not seen much of the courtyard gardens or small gardens.. keep seeing the same damn ones all the time.. or going other gardens of famous people.. dont get me wrong.. i love looking at gardens.. but i dont seem to have seen much of the chelsea ones this year.. i must be fast forwarding to much or something

May In Your Garden

my garden today was fully of tiny little pin head size black bugs.. nightmare.. they were covering everything white and yellow..

been too hot today to do any gardening.. and even hotter in the greenhouse.. so just at and looked at it and thought about new borders and designs.

this hot weather due to last.. but then it is chelsea week..dont expect anything else.

@margaret..i am with you there.. it is impossible to fully appreciate the gardens when there.. i wish we were able to wander round like they do on the telly.. it seems a bit of waste of time..if people cant actually enjoy them fully... it has gone very commercialised lately and i dont see it getting any better.. this is first year i have not been and have seen the gardens much better sat on sofa..

@palaisglide.. rape seed sets my hayfever off every time.. i am sure it is why more people suffer it now.. and the fact they do not cut the road side verges over here now until they are high enough to hide a man in.. normally with a speed came
