wintersong.. hers is my woodland garden.. only started it end last year then off with borken should so just getting back onto it.. will look much better next year when everything has got etablished better.. jsut got to get the bark for paths round and removed the grass..or should i say moss.. as that is all that grows there..

pottiejam.. i will harvest some for you if you like.. they are pale licla blue.. lovely.. thou not tried to harvest their seeds as like isaid once you got it hard to get rid of.. they grow about 3ft tall and if you keep cutting off dead flowers they just keep coming back... it dies down over winter and reshoots spring.. it is 8ins tall already.. message me your addi and i will send some when ready.

@figrat.. thank you you are a star.. to be honest i have not of these plants either.. as i have none but if you wait till seed head is big as possible on last flower..then just nip it off and send to me.. i can message you my address and pay postage. if you like.

my bearded iris haev been flowering for a while now.. my mums are over done now fro the last few weeks.. amazes me how they differ over the country.

 i was wondering if anyone had a jacobs ladder white seeds going.. i bought some on e-bay and out of the 25 seeds only 3 plants that grew were actually the right plant..

i hate this stuff i have it from neighbours both sides..they do not do gardening!! i have green thumb come round and do my lawns.. they will spray the stuff for me with their stronger chemicals.. they said shops bought stuff doesnt have the strong stuff in (health and safety) well their stuff works.. kills it off.. but more just comes through..so have to just keep diggig it up... drives me mad.

sorry about spelling.. cant find glasses.. arbutus1.. start sowing end of this month and try off in pots in greenhouse or sheltered spot first.. we didnt feed ours..they seem to like and free draining sandy soil.. so whether that is why i do not know.

will check with hubby to make sure i have got it right.

hubby grew them last year.. did very well.. dodnt get too big but we are going to start planting up this month for this eyars.. we started ours off in pots last year and planted out when good and strong..

rain and very windy.. to be honest i know we need it..but getting really fed up with rain now.. my plants need some sunshine to start growing again.. and it so cold with it.
