Ignore is a brilliant feature, because it puts you in control.

If you even start to argue back, then that's just what people want you to do. Arguing, or even commenting, plays into their hands.

By clicking IGNORE you simply despatch them into a black hole in the ethernet.

It's useful if someone spots such a person, and points it out. But it's not useful if lots of people join in, all arguing with the troll, and the argument snowballs.

Just hover over their avatar (at the left), and you'll see a large black panel with two blue buttons, one marked IGNORE.

I can recommend working (or even sitting) in an unheated greenhouse. The temperature in mine at the moment is around 22C. Not as warm as it was yesterday, but still comfortable.

Far more importantly, you are exposed to daylight. It's the absence of bright light that tends to make many people feel under the weather (this SAD syndrome).

There was an item about SAD on Sky News this morning. A lady doctor used a term that I had not heard before - NEWB.

Morning forkers,

Pleased to see that our Bunny has found her way back.

Not as cold last night as had been forecast. This was the temperature in the GH a few minutes ago...

What's surprising is that the temperature yesterday afternoon got up to 34C.

The little plants will be having another day out today.

I think Bunny comes from the Cumbria area. 1700 homes in Cumbria have been without power. But the press does say that all homes have now been reconnected. I suppose that telephone wires can be brought down too. Lots of roads closed too.
