Have just had a look at today's Radio Times, preview of tonight's GW...

"As temperatures rise Monty starts preparing for Spring..... Joe Swifts creates a tropical garden...."

Doesn't feel very tropical right now.

For those in the Midlands beware that considerably more snow, and lower temperatures, are forecast through tomorrow.

My electricity meter is normally read in the second week of April - not looking forward to that.

Morning forkers,

Something of a weather shock here this morning. Must be almost a couple of inches of snow!!!

Had to use a shovel to clear some space to put down some bird food. There's a cold wind too.

Won't be doing anything outside today.

Mr Tesco has been. It's a bit like Christmas, unpacking all your goodies.

And the sun has come out  - that should raise the temperature in GH (which was -1 last night). So some little plants which I brought into the house can have an afternoon outside.

Morning forkers,

Another freezer last night.

Spring day (according to some). I had my first daffodil, beginning to flower yesterday...

But most are still in this condition....

We do want to be happy Bunny. We're doing our best.

I suppose it's possible that the awful miserable weather outside is influenced, in some supernatural way, by what's going on here. Perhaps by sympathetic magic.

Or are we miserable and grumpy because of the weather - would we be here, squabbling like this, if it was a lovely day outside?

I'm not trying to drive anyone away. Quite the contrary. And if I've offended anyone then I apologize.

But I do still maintain that the use of the term Forkers in caps in that thread title was controversial  and provocative - that's how it was interpreted by me. The simple fact is that it has caused a lot of aggro.

I'm not going to get drawn into any arguments.

Placed my weekly order with Tesco yesterday morning, for delivery tomorrow.

Have just received an E-mail with £5 off voucher. They call it an evoucher. My order wasn't big. It amounts to 10% off the order. Vouchers can be applied to orders already in the pipeline. So thank you very much.
