Does anyone know how to get rid of pearlwort in the lawns? Not content with living there it is now invading the borders too. It thrived on 'Feed and Weed".

We just eat them with whatever the slugs have left of the lettuce. If you freeze them they go soft and can only be eaten hot when they are defrosted ie they're no good as salad stuff!

Mrs Popple is incredibly hardy except for one year old cuttings which do best overwintered in a cold frame

Excellent article but even better to use a bigger pot and put a transparent yoghourt pot in the middle; surround with compost and proceed as in the article. This way you can see how many roots have grown and judge when to pot on easily.
