hi due to high winds i had to cut down two large trees which has left a unsightly space. i was thinking "dogwood" and growing it 1 metre out from a timber dividing fence where the trees were, letting it grow 1.800 high the same height as the fence. the ground can get pretty soggy when raining. any suggestions.

the crescent edger is what i use, but keep it sharp use a grindette with a flapping disk if you can get hold of one or a good fine tooth file "keep it sharp"

Which tree?
