Moans about GW

Posted: 11/09/2013 at 08:01

I love GW.

I was sad when Toby & Alice  left, but was not that keen on some of the items they had introduced like "whats hot or not"......tooo much of a gimmick, gardening only please.

An hour episode each week (without interuptions for sport) would be brilliant. There are so many cooking programmes now (which I also enjoy) it should be realised how many people are gardeners and more programmes considered.

I can,t see why GW could not be on for most of the year, after all there is always something going on /to do in the garden.

MORNING FORKERS

Morning all,

Dull this morning, but not cold, sorry for you folks that need the heating on already.

I am interested in Verduns answer to your helebore question as well Chicky.if only he would wake up ,it is after 7.30 .

Tomatoes are coming to an end now,may be able to make one more batch of  tomato chilli sauce for the freezer. The remainder of the plums are safely tucked up in a crumble and some left out for eating.

Have a good day all.

It may be worth trying to seperate one of the smaller shoots at the base when repotting,to give yourself another plant.

May also be worth checking at your local college to see if they offer any relevant classes.

MORNING FORKERS

Morning all,

Dull and grey,we have had heavy rain overnight.

Just in the middle of cooking beetroot and we have had a power cut, had to bring the water back to the boil and start over as they had only been on a few minutes.Still will be worth it when we have beetroot sandwiches for lunch
