Did,nt go this year, but have been in the past and always had a great day out, looks like best to avoid at the moment, perhaps it will improve, but am not willing to waste money on it meanwhile. It,s not cheap

The sate of the ground will also vary depending on how long the decking/ paved area has been down. Some will have been laid on hardcore and general rubbish,so as others have said until its lifted you won,t know, but after all the hard work you will have a living garden, and not as Verdun says a "dead area".

Good Evening FORKERS

Posted: 17/08/2013 at 19:56

Evening everyone, quite busy here tonight, perhaps it is the cooler evenings?.

Heavy rainstorms here on and off all day,but very warm and humid in between,

Lovely  pictures Gardengirl, love the dark hollyhocks, have never been sucessful with them, they seem to be eaten or blown over despite my best efforts at staking, may give them another try next year.

Good luck with your plans for ponds,Chicky and Dove,I love my pond,we have several large goldfish, waterlilies, minature bullrushes and various reeds, together with frogs and toads and the occasional newt.
