Oh Dove, thanks for that....as you can see I am somewhat confused with the days at the moment

TODAY IS THURSDAY, GIRASOLE!!

Morning forkers, woke early so I thought I would try and have a catch-up and then perhaps go back to bed

All your homes and gardens look lovely and thank you for sharing them with us. I am sure all the people who live in them are lovely, too, otherwise what would they be doing on a gardening forum?

Both my home and garden are 'work in progress' but perhaps if I ever see my camera again I shall take a few photos of the minute front and small back garden.

I wonder what the weather is going to be like today? According to Accuweather we should have a few hours of sunshine this morning so I think I shall go for a healthy walk to the supermarket and then bus back!

Geoff, what was it I didn't understand? I am always ready to learn.

Heating just come on so perhaps I shall just pop back to bed with a cup of tea and do some reading - I belong to a book group and the book this time is very large and difficult to read in bed at night!

Bye for now and all have an enjoyable day - btw it is Friday. I shall be pleased when Monday comes along and we are, within reason, back to normal

S.

Oh Rosa....wish I could advise but have never owned a pet.

I had a half-wild half-Persian cat as a child but in those days you didn't go to vets and anyway someone stole her which was tough to deal with at age of 10.

Chorus....we want to see your farmous, Liz or something similar perhaps to be on the safe side

Somewhat off thread but as I have treated myself to a subscription of GW this year when do I get the first one? Am waiting patiently or impatiently actually

Geoff, have just looked at Liz's profile (hope she doesn't mind) and yes she lives in the Dordogne but the hoot is that her neighbourhood is Tower Hamlets (London) How on earth has that happened?

Chris, I moved in a year ago last October (ie 2011!).....but had a lot of clearing away of junk to be done...shed dismantled and repositioned.....friends and relations staying....furniture to sell as much smaller house etc. Don't get me wrong I am very happy here but it has all taken a lot of time and energy and no help from my two sons to boot! Saying that I have learnt not to expect anything any more and then one isn't disappointed
