Geoff, is that Liz's home? I have just been looking at her photos, too.

Also, many thanks for the compliment - don't get many of those nowadays

I have even managed with a considerable amount of umming and arring to scan a photo for a friend and send it to him!

Jo, am sitting her chuckling to myself but I do agree with your advice so many thanks for that.

The photo I scanned was this friend dressed as a sheik or shake as I had a big rock and role party a while a ago. His reply was 'are you sure it isn't Lawrence of Arabia' and I replied 'but he is deaded I think'. That was what the Goons used to say wasn't it?

Jo4eyes and lovetogarden, miserable day here, too. Fortunately didn't need to go out in it for once but tomorrow I do need to venture forth....hopefully a bit better by then!

As I have a newish garden which needs planning at least with my laptop downstairs (in the warm) I can gaze out and get ideas despite the weather! I am wondering if I should actually make a plan of the present layout and take it from there. Any ideas peeps?

LG, we have baked salmon tonight so that reminds me to put a good slosh of white wine in the dish before it goes into the oven.

Here I am trying to get back into a good eating pattern and off I go thinking of ways to enhance meals ....there is little hope at the moment me thinks

Geoff, further ......I lived in Italy for 15 years and although I still love it and, of course, the climate is really good.....it may seem strange but the UK still has a lot going for it.
