Bjay, now even done an avatar! Wonders will never cease.

Geoff, why 'anatomical' ? It is a flower. Just checked the definition of 'anatomical' so I don't understand:-

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/anatomical.

Geoff, Valencia sounds very nice. I have never been there I have to say, What I suggest you do, if you can, is let out your English home and go to  Valencia in the winter months. And....hope I don't sound like the proverbial pessimist if you do sell and go there always keep a bolt hole in England just in case things don't work out

Geoff, where are you thinking of moving to in Spain? Have you lived there in the winter months? Just don't want you to make a mistake. Also, check out the health situation before you take the leap!

Lottie, yes...sunflower but that was already taken so having Italian links I thought I would go for it in Italian. Also, I am of a sunny dispostion (most of the time) and I thought I would start the NY in a positive mood. What do you think?

Chucking it down here and cannot summon up the wish to look at seeds or seed catalogues for the time being .....seriously feeling like hibernating to be honest

Lyon Greene, I think dreams are fascinating. Haven't quite got to the point yet of dreaming of the peeps in here as I am a newbie but possibly in time.

Are you a Lyon in real life? I have Lyon on my paternal side.

It has just occurred to me - does anyone in here live near Cambridge? Or should I say South Cambridgeshire as my profile insists on saying?

Morning forkers, my thoughts go especially to those returning to work today

I have been retired for years now and couldn't recommend it more highly

Quite dark, grey cloud cover and drizzle this morning in Cambridge - is it a housework or gardening day, please? If I wrap up warm I think the gardening wins!

Is anybody else confused by which day of the week it is? Today is Wednesday isn't it? Oh italic thingy got stuck - sorry!

A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013 TO ALL MY NEW FORKER FRIENDS

The sun is actually shining here in Cambridge and we have a cloudless blue sky to boot and I hope you all, too, are enjoying the same!

The moon here at 0730 was stunning too btw - cannot take pictures as my camera is still in New York with youngest son (I hope)!
