Dove, just been watching the film footage and found it very emotional - what a huge relief that they are all safe and sound as well as for you . My thoughts are with you all and thank you so much for sharing the film.

Good morning Forkers  - woke very early so thought I would just pop in for a while.

Hope everyone feeling better today - it should be a reasonable day weatherwise I believe. The forecasters don't seem to be able to decide about what it will be like on Wednesday - some say rain others that it will be sunny. Shall wait and see before I make any plans

We watched the Story of Malta and it was fascinating - had a week's holiday there last year and now would have liked to visit more of the old part of Valletta.. Has anyone here been there?

Do my stint as a guide up at the local hospital this morning and then if I have the strength hope to get to the supermarket afterwards - shall have to see how I feel.

Dove, any news from Tasmania? And Geoff feeling better about the agent?

May pop back later....if not have a good day everyone

I haven't had time to read back so I am guessing that Geoff is getting grief from the house agent - am I right there?

Geoff, can I just re-assure you that it is your house and home so don't put up with their bad behaviour. What about threatening to change agents?

Btw I have finally discovered why I haven't received my January issue as part of my new subscription to GW. It has never been sent - wonderful

Didn't do anything in the garden after all today (sadly) just spent the day doing catch-up things at home!

Really must get going peeps - up to now I have been switching between Facebook and Gardeners' World Forum and I am surprised I didn't get them muddled! Perhaps see you later

Becks, well done ....I can see that you have thought it out. Possible snag in the summer (if we have one!) when the days are longer - suggest dark lining to curtains.

Morning all  Sorry to hear about those who are under the weather ....get better soonest.

Am sitting here looking out of the window as I type and it looks a very gloomy day but I do find either I just go with the flow and do virtually nothing or motivate myself to get going. I know easier said than done but if you do manage to get going there is certain smug feeling!

I decided I couldn't watch The Ripper but instead came across the programme on Neil Armstrong and the lead up to the Moon landing and The Tankies about the tank regiment in Africa - both fascinating and I learnt a lot.

I see the Christmas icons are still lurking but at the bottom now!

Enjoy your day, take care and chin up

I1973 - perhaps I should have worded that differently. The exertions were gardening ones....nothing else

Geoff - good news that it is 4 minutes a day. Don't ask me to do the maths as never was any good at that!

Did you plan not to go anywhere today, Geoff? I didn't either and love home days! Mind you I think I shall have to get supper on the move soon as I can feel a few aches and pains starting up from my exertions today!

Thanks for reminding me of weed suppresant name too
