Something's eating my rose

Something is eating my rose and I'm not sure what.  Would it be possible to assist with an ID on said muncher please and a solution - bearing in mind I only applied nematodes to deal with my vine weevil issue last week and don't want to kill them off!

many thanks

More problems with my rhododendrons (sorry!)

I've not noticed, no.  This one is completely the other side of the house from the weevil too.

It's perfectly possible that the sun could have shone on wet leaves as I've a south facing garden, the rest of it is either away from the sun or shaded by the shed.  Makes sense as that's the only area affected, thanks!

It's that time of year again!

I'm here every spring with problems with my rhododendrons - love them so much but blimey they don't make it easy!

Still fighting the good fight against vine weevils on my purple one, just applied the spring nematodes.

Now my beautiful pink Rhody looks like this - is it frost or has something else got to it?

Many thanks, I really appreciate all the input.

It's by the shed, perhaps roof run off?  Haven't fertilised in sun, no.

thanks for all input, appreciated

Drooping Rhododendron

Thank you so much Liriodendron.  Sadly I think you're right.  We found an adult on our almost dead azalea last night after reading your post.

We've drenched and drenched over the past couple of years and it's not cleared them so I've ordered some nematodes and traps for the adults.  Only hope my beautiful rhody can be saved.

Out of interest which plants are most susceptible?  I have my rhodies and azaleas in pots.  My borders with petunias and violas have been untouched (except by slug).  Think they've also had my hydrangea.

I also have roses in pots.  Should I apply nematodes to everything or target the most susceptible plants?

I'm having a similar problem albeit my flowers are open and looking stunning.  It's a 4 year old plant and has never dropped like this before.  Giving it regular ericaceous feed too.

Any advice welcome!

Does yours look like this, OP?  (Leaves I mean)
