Eaten some mince I found lurking in the freezer with basmatti rice. Wazzed up some sourdough to prove overnight - it's looking a bit sad, but tomorrow is another day, innit?

Interesting pub people are.......interesting. It amuses me, as it is the only social life I have, mostly, Landlady and I have a laugh, and the others are harmless. It did get a bit fruity this afternoon, which had me in stitches - I think some folk thought I should have been shocked! Oh dear, I am such a disappointment to people........

I'm home from the pub - it was a bit.....erm.....interesting in there this afternoon, but fun. Off to watch Saturday Kitchen on iPlayer now.

Done more than enough standing about in fields in my time, Flo!

Back from the gurt town, safely back in Trumpton. I came, I shopped, I scarpered!

I bought 2 tops, one pair of trowsis, two pairs of shoes (but I have to wait for one pair to be delivered as they only had them in beige in the shop - no way am I wearing beige!), one flat cotton sheet, two cotton pillow cases and......A CAMERA . It's charging its battery now, but I shall take it out to the allotment (and lots of other places probably) tomorrow. I have a couple of SLRs, but I wanted something that would fit in my pocket.

What a lot of snow, you poor things. Just bitterly cold and damp here, the same as Geoff.

Off to the pub for a little while - all that shopping has fried my brain!

I hope nobody gets lost in those snowdrifts - take care out there. I suspect that not much gardening will be going on today. My allotment will be far too wet to get on today - it's right by the river and the pumping station.

Making porridge for breakfast. Will somebody keep a lookout for those pesky bears, please?

Morning, Forkers.

Grey, cold and windy here - and the weather's similar. At least the rain has finally stopped, though we have a Flood Alert now. The roads were terrible yesterday.

Having a cup of tea and psyching myself up to go and spend, spend, spend in That Taunton.

Evening, Forkers all.

Congrats to our famous author.

Comiserations to the poorly.

Blueberries are the Devil's droppings, second only to cranberries - yuk!

Sad to see workmate go today......

Got a bit of goss tonight about neighbours - should give me some good ammunition.

I've mostly seen them growing against something, Bunny. Had one against a fence (ooh, Matron!) at a place I rented once - they seem pretty bomb proof.

Evening goldie-have you got your soft bottomed souls on?

I never wear shoes indoors, Geoff, or outdoors if I can get away with it. I like having my feet nekkid!

Which reminds me, I am having another attempt at shoe shopping on Saturday. Going to Taunton this time, so might go to the camera shop as well, and maybe Lakeland and Wilkos.......
