Tomato plant problem

Thanks for the replies, sorry to be late getting back to you.

As it was so hot last week we did put up shading in the GH but we may have been a few days too late.

As for watering I have the tumbling toms in self watering baskets and I have not started feeding yet as I am waiting for the 1st fruit to set.

Hopefully they will recover as BrummieBen says, once again thanks for taking the time to give advice.

Tomato plant problem

Hi everyone,

I decided to grow my toms in the greenhouse this year after last years awful summer, they look very healthy with lots of growth but the flowers are dying without the fruit setting behind as it should be.

I have tried tapping the plants and spraying with tepid water but still no fruit.I am growing tumbling tom in baskets and sweet n neat in pots.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks to all who replied, we will have some with our meal tonight. I will try different varieties next year, lots of sunshine today at last my toms are going red.

French beans

I am growing french beans for the 1st time this year(blue lake) but I am unsure  what size they should be before I pick them, at the moment some are about 5-6 inches and I can feel the beans inside the pod.

Orange spots on raspberry leaves

My raspberries are 3 years old and this year they are bearing lots of fruit, my problem is that lots of bright orange spots are growing on the upper surface of the leaves. Can anyone give advice I am worried that I may lose the whole crop. Thanks 

What's the weather like in your area?

Heavy rain most of today here in the north west, water butt overflowing. Sowed beetroot, lettuce.radish and spring onions in raised bed a few weeks ago not much showing yet. Keep hoping for a bit of sunshine to get things going
