Fairygirl I think you have it - I think they are maybe a bit overcrowded and I thanks also to marshmellow - I think I am a bit early !
I dont seem to be able to get Basil to grow well. I have started them indoors and although they are now growing they are very low to the soil (and bushy) but not growing high enough to snip.
Any ideas? Would it be better outside?
I have five blueberry plants - and have never ever fed them. Each year they give me a bumper crop in their turn - but this year I notice not so many flowers as usual - could they now need something else from me?

The (core) of the stem of my Yukka is completely infested with insects.
Any ideas - ?
I have a standard olive - in a pot kept outside.
I put a fleecy jacket over Olive in the winter.
Does anyone know how I can get Olive to fruit?
and once planted - there is no way to avoid regular weeding !
