How about using the slats off an old ventian blind, cut up and write on them with a wax pencil. (Apparently permanent markers aren't permanent in the sun) I've just heard of this one and I'm just searching to see in anyone has an old blind and I'm going to give it a go. I will get hundreds of labels out of an average sized blind.

I have bought some of these plants but on investigation some people say that it is too invasive and will over run my garden.  Does anyone know anything about it.  I'm a novice gardener so I don't want get off on the wrong foot in my first days of gardening.

Any advice would be helpful

Can anyone give me some advice on this plant?  I bought some as it said they were good ground cover and they had lovely double pastel pink flowers but when I looked on the internet for more information some said that they were very invasive and to avoid them.  Has anyone any experience of these plants? I am a novice gardener and I don't want to make the mistake of introducing and invasive plant into my garden. If it is ok to plant it, is it hardy for the North East of England as some said it was hardy and others said it wasn't. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
