Overall: This Rose was given to me as a birthday present and it does not disappoint! It is a vigorous climber and free-flowers on new growth from early summer to November. It appears to benefit from being pruned when the leaves are beginning to fall. I prune quite hard every winter, cutting back to a strong framework that is supported by two panels of lattice fencing five foot square. This year I am considering extending the fence because the rose has grown so vigorously, maybe the extra rainfall or rising water-table helped. The perfume is delicious, especially after rain and in the evening. An all round performer!
