| About me: | I came from a family of 9 kids,the war had just finished when I was 2 years old, my soldier dad came home from war a bit of a wreck, and no prospect of a job, luckily the family had just been given a rented house in yardley wood,b/ham, so we got to work instantly on getting the garden in shape, we learned how to grow veggies and soon were able to supply the neighbours with all sorts of food, I will never forget how my dad gifted me with all his ,and my grand parents knowledge of gardening now at 65 I still cant get enough, and boy, am I still learning,so get out there and stop moaning about the cold,the hard work really pays off, and keeps you fit in body and mind. |
