Fabulously sunny , hot  day , will need to put sun umbrella up , lunch outside today , will put a bottle of Rose in fridge as well

Bit more tidying up yesterday, going to allotment today , hoping to cut hedges tomorrow 


particularly pleased with this climbing rose 🌹 I planted to grow through a holly tree

B3 , because they are difficult to quash , I let them drop into a jar with some white spirit , I can then do a body count at end of season 


Lamweedy , no nematodes but I now do make a point of getting rid of the larva

Calvados distillery sounds like heaven  , hope you tried some samples 🥃


Would be interested in insectorside info , only known about , garlic spray to stop slugs and soapy water for greenfly etc

Lamweedy , hope you are right , however , I have not had as many lily beetles so far , found the first one on fritillaries

Good morning , back of hols and read back 


Cut lawns yesterday , hoping to do g/h this afternoon


BL , moles , we get lots at allotment if I find a mole hill where I don't want them to be eg middle of asparagus bed , I pour a couple of watering can down it and they go some where else , best of luck
