VC , may sound daft but what goes with crab apple jelly ?

Used crab apples in wine , long time ago , seem to recall a bit tart tasting

This winter

Hostanfan you really don't like winter !

Personally winter can be cold , crisp with frosty days but sunny which I like , it is the damp wet time I don't like but that is not always in the winter

we have an open fire which is always nice , we can burn anything and I do , coal is expensive but always gets plenty of free wood

Gardening by the Moon

Hello always like reading you info

unfortunately could never be as organised to follow the planting schedules as thing happen that you where not expecting , for example our allottment site suffered a mindless vandal attack , including 2 sheds burnt down and only silly things stolen

I have had a really good year over all on the allottment  and garden all considered , only real disappointment was peas !

also forgot to grow any Parsnips , shame as last year they where great

are you getting ready for Autumn or does it come later where you are ?

I hope you are keeping well and  you keep posting
