Christmas lights in the garden

Don't think about decorations until I have been to Lincoln Chritmas market , next Thursday yo Sunday 

no longer put out lights anymore as we go and stay with relatives for about 2 weeks 

one  person in the Village had put up there lights , more to come and I do like them

What do you have left to do in the garden this year?

Main garden job is to Bubble rap the G/H

Need to trim willows , ash , hawthorn and Apple trees some time 

bits of cleaning up  still to do , allways a few jobs to do

I have bought potatoes , aspragus and assorted seeds from Kings and have always been pleased

I like both B & W and Colour pictures

Some look better B & W but generally I think most are better in colour but everybody to there own

Hello all thanks for the info , never had carrot fly before , must have attracted the blighters when dug some up before because thre carrots where fine

Never thin out and have in the past sown between Garlic 

You live and learn with gardening

dug up some carrots on Monday first time for a couple weeks and found a problem , so took a picture , wondered what the problem was , hope somebody can help ?

Edd good question , the A - associations has mains water and 3 tapes for the whole site plus 2 very long  

hosepipes on trollies and you can buy water at £3 per filled cube which is very reasonable as they hold 1000 litres 

I also has water butts the other side of the shed which fills via the shed guttering

Picture of one of my other water cube covered by a clematis , gone over a bit but when in flower , brill , the tree is a Medlar

 Have you thought about setting up a Garden club ? Would not be easy but could be intresting

To do list has loads of jobs at the Allottment both gardening and none gardening , I look at none gardening as restraining sheds , rehang gates ect . My main job is to glaze the second hand greenhouse 

Just been to a garden club meeting , really good talk about cut flowers , bought a clematis to cover a water cube
