Ginagibbs , the course at Cotswold School sounds good , never been on any sort of Gardening course , you will have to tell us about it

From a very windy and wet Tenby , only 1 days holiday left , nice and warm in the Pub at moment

Just had a thought you could have both an annual subscription which regular users would pay and pay per item for occasional user like me

This site was a good idea , I have tagged in favourits on my iPad 

I will have make a note of some of these books and have a look 

when I get home I will put a couple of suggestions on hear , keep names of books coming

On the allotment I have 2 Apple trees , plum and a quince all 3 years old , got a couple  of apples and 1 quince

intead to plant more next year 

I read that planting chives and Welsh onion around the apples , help keep the bugs away , so far they have , unless it is just luck

Don't use the main library much as I have to pay for parking , parking is cheaper than public transport

but there are 2 small libraries in villages close buy , 1 in a school and the other in a community centre , keep meaning to try and find them 

at the moment would prefer to pay a nominal charge per item

I live in Lincolnshire and the County Council are trying to off load them

age 61

Books , in Lincoln , Oxfam have a book shop so I always have a look when in Town and have bought a couple over the years , also I have look in a shop called Works , they have shops all over the place and have bought books their , the advantage is they are both cheap

when retired have to look after the pennies
