Morning all just looked at you tube of Oscar , nice memories 

raining hear but it was forecast , not bothered as I have a meeting from lunch time then of to see Lincoln City v Macclesfield , football not every bodies cup of tea , certainly not O/H 

O/H did some jars of pickled beetroot , she is playing in kitchen today ?

Good morning 

yes lots of dead heading , cut and pulled up poppies , need to sort out some ornamental grasses which gone a bit mad 

always nice to spend an hour or so in the garden

Pat e , yes bales a bit big !

run lawn mower over lawns 

if the weathers ok having some slabs laid on Thursday to stand garden table and chairs on , rather than the grass

Hello , lovely evening , I too didn't learn to ride a bike until late 40ish and didn't like riding on the country lanes around hear , so gave the bike away , strictly 4 wheels or 2 feet 

just had dinner 6 different veg , all home grown , including purple cauliflower which kept is colour 

hope every is well

Good morning all,  just having breakfast in back conservatory and wearing sun glasses very sunny , however , popped outside and there seems a slight chill

paper work day , if manage to get it all done , will cut lawns 

toms starting to turn red at last

Zoomer , garlic from September onwards did plant some in spring this year and it didn't grow 

I do put Japnanese winter onion in to over winter

have you tried overwintering with green manure , I want to do a new raspberry and currant bed so have cleared plot and put green manure in which if I don't get around to it can be left in over winter

although our plot is fenced in still get things nibbled but far less than other plots garlic and onions definitely stops carrot fly but they get the carrots after you harvest so this year grew them in a very large box which worked 

Any ideas for an entry.....

Anydbody looking for a bargain , o/h bought a fire dustbin in Moorisons for £12 , the one at the allottment has nearly had it , on reflection a bit boring but might be useful info for somebody !

another nice day been a glouruious summer so far , wonder when it will finish 

Any ideas for an entry.....

Some of the Judges stay around at our Village show and it really is worth having a chat to them , always found them , except the wine judge one year , very helpful

Never done floral art or baking , craft , flowears , wine ect , fruit and veg is our thing
