Gardengirl , the barbe was in the car park , we have a small community shed 8x6 mainly for storing hose pipes and an area for horse manure

in the car park we have bark Chipping's delivered and we have a pile of hard core , useful for road ways , although I have used it for putting fence posts in

yes it was a good day , still lots to do on the plot , bought some broad beans an peas on Saturday , hopefully will get them in before Holidays on Thursday

Hello , spent the day at the Allotment but with other plot holders doing a winter tidy up , we are surrounded by hedges so needs a trim every so often . We got some free trees from the Woodland Trust so did a bit of tidying up around them plus a few other jobs

We had a barbecue afterwards , avery pleasant day

To-do lists

Posted: 25/10/2014 at 22:48

I use " to do lists " but only put on 10 items so I can complete them , that way I feel I have achieved something and not to detailed

For major jobs treat them as project eg. New front door needed

but whatever happens they are flexible , so don't get stressed if I don't achieve what I wanted to do

New allotment OMG...

We must have been lucky because we did have the choice of 2 but we decied against one as it was full of horsetail and huge tractor tires , interestingly several people have started on that plot and given up

The person on there now is finally making a go of it

The owner of the land a local farmer arranged for the disposal of the tractor tyres
