Good morning all , sun trying to come out ☀️

Went to Yorkshire Sulpture park to see Poppy Wave , nice place we thought 🦄 As ever some bit we didnt like and some we did 

Off to B&Q to buy some emulsion paint this morning 

If weathers ok I will leave o/h painting and go up to allotment this afternoon 

Thought biscuit 🍪 Bake Off good

Yes a busy day , lots done , including visit to allotment to collect rubbish that is to wet to burn so has gone in garden bin collected Thursday , like to make sure it is full as we have now to pay for it to be collected 

O/H has been gloss painting in cloak room 

Just having a well deserved glass of wine before dinner 

Roast pork steaks with lots of veg from allotment 

I am going to watch Bake Off & o/h Dr Foster

Thanks for update   September could be an interesting month 

Gardens are always a work in progress , most plants you can move if it in the wrong place 

Always good if cutting take , have recently started propagating , took 8 cutting of a Christmas Catus that was finished  and it looks like they have taken 

Sounds like Gunnera is liking its position 🌴

Statrted using green manure on allotment for empty beds

PP , my friend is doing a Blog of his journey and he did say there where Vultures flying around ! Obviously they feed on fallen Pilgrims

Good morning all , families always complicated 

A friend has just started walking the Pligrims way from Frances to Northern Way to Santimago Costello , 5 / 6 weeks of hard slog 

Raining ☔️ heavy at moment

Gardengirl , yes cut strawberry runners off each year , when I planted the new bed last year I just dug up a number of plants from the old bed and replanted them 

Tried putting runners in pots but they just dried up and died !

Gardengirl , hello , strawberry runners , there are so many , I just put them in rubbish pile for burning 

Did I mention , several of our cauliflowers suddenly when to seed , so went in compost bin 

Have put another bed of green manure down , have not forgotten to keep you all advised how they go

Yvi , have had really good holidays in Turkey in the past but now prefer Cruising from Uk 🇬🇧 , can no longer stand Airports , years ago , going to the Airport was the start of the Holiday but now it is a most unpleasant experience
