Chelsea tv coverage.

Posted: 16/05/2015 at 21:46

Hello , yes I will be watching , probably not all the programmes that they put out and yes not really interestead in some of the celebrity interviews

But we must remember it is TV programme , there for general entertainment

I do think they could do a bit more from the other shows , Malvern , Hampton Court , Gardeners World and Tatton , also they never cover Harrogate

Only been once to Chelsea and it was a fantastic day out and who ever is going have a great day

Happy viewing everybody

Anyone done any gardening today?

Gardengirl , sheds I did splash out and have a new one and got the company to put it up , I am not really into DIY that much , a local firm in Lincolnshire did it

I did prepare the surface , menbrane , slabs and gravel plus I put chicken wire around the bottom to stop rats and mice from living underneath

It was a great investment , better to have a slopping roof rather than apex as there is more room , hopefully if maintained will out live me

advice please

Tetley , I agree that clematis need to go in the ground

but may years ago our Garden society had a talk from a clematis breeder/ growers and she recommended doing a clematis ball which I did using small / cheap plants and it was fantastic , need to over winter in G/H and cut it back

As you can see I have just done another one , hope it goes as well as the last one

the pervious one unfortunately died following a really bad winter a few years ago , -11 in the G/H for weeks , in fact nothing survived even though the G/H was insulated

That gardening

Hello , this my clematis ball that I have recently planted , had one a few years ago and we had a terrible winter -11 in the G/H for weeks and obviously it did not survive along with every thing else even thought it was insulated , the way it goes

there are 4 small plants in there and before putting away for the winter I just cut everything back , hopefully it will blossom out  in time

happy gardening everybody
