Courgette Help

mine are quite slow too but managed to get 4 mini ones off mine about 8 cm long and my first year of attempting veg. i too have had enough of all this rain .but on a plus side am using any rain water i catch in my small buckets and watering can to water  veg plants in my greenhouse.whilst we were on holiday i used plastic bottles with a small hole in the cap and tipped upside down to water plants in the greenhouse whilst we were away and my melon ,pepper,cucumber,tomato and sweetcorn plants looked great.

i'm knew to growing leeks too and  have got them in a large round pot till they grow abit more,i too have used  the dibber to make holes and also held the leaves up against my canes is this okay to do.

out of 12 it looks like 7seedlings of sweet peppers will be  success from 1 st batch i sowed on  5/5

2 of my courgette seedlings have taken off now, since i repotted and cut off the dry part of first leaves off,i also bought a courgette plant for £1 just in case mine dont turn out ssshhhh our secret ha ha ha

seeds not germinated

i sowed a few varieties of tomato seeds and  some leeks on 5/5 no sign of germination how long do they normally take

i sowed my market more cucumbers on 23/5 no sign yet but 5 of my sweet peppers that i sowed out of 12 on 5/5  have shown signs of life this week.
