I reported that too - isn't it a shame that silly people try to advertise on this. I've not been on this long - thoroughly enjoying it - and do they not realise that they just get people's backs up and so their atempts advertise are actually going against them.

Can I ask someone about a type of bee, please? I have lots of very small bee-like insects which love my dahlias. Are they true bees or something else?

I bought B & Q this year and have done for years for general purpose (I live near to a B & Q). But I won't buy it again as there is an awful lot of grit/small stones in it - very poor Did notice some creeping in to it last year but this year, there's so much I would be able to work out the %!

Fairygirl - What a great reply - thanks. It's Ronseal dark oak, apparently with added wax to last 5 years. I think my only solution is to sand it down. I don't know whether the treatment is oil or water soluble.

Thank you very much for your advice - I think I will have to do a bit of sanding!

Hello, I'm new to this forum and added a question before and the hyphens appeared on their own.

Does anyone know how to successfully keep paint on a shed, please? After a couple of years, the paint is peeling off - good brand treatment used in dark oak.
