Floppy poppies

Try growing the poppy with a more rigid / woody shrub to give it some support . You can make some support with thick wire ,just shape it into a circle and leave enough length to bend to a 90 degree angle and push these two ends into the soil . Enjoy your poppy .

 I agree with Alina W 100% just keep the young plants watered until they've become established.I wouldn't worry too much about them shedding a few leaves they'll soon recover.I've found they are pretty tough plants and don't need any special attention.
