Ideas for a strawberry planter

Hi folks,

just looking for ideas for my strawberry planter and what to plant in it this year due to me looking at the strawberrys at several garden centres and they look so past it this year.

so I am looking at something different this year, here is a pic of my planter any ideas welcome.

i must admit i went out this morning and double checked and took the offending devils off (leaves), i must admit i was thinking off puting them out this weekend anyway know the frosts have hopefully passed.

thanks for your advice it has just really confirmed what i thought

hi italophile they are tomatoes, so you think blight?

i had it on the plants last year all through the growing season but hey came out ok

was just really thinking of anything in general really.

its just really due to me now owning a grow house (5 tier 5' 2) and a couple of big 6 x 3 cloche's and was going to give it a go this year for the first time growing and eating through the winter period.

Hi aall just watered toms and some of the leaves have a few grey marks on is that anything to worry about, toms are about a foot tall under a cloche

No it's not taller than 3", it is about 1-1 1/2"

but it just doesn't look like shop brought.

but would it be still edible
