Well, just about there - when I zoomed right in, I've discovered that I am now living on the golf course - oooops, only a few hundred yards out!!

Woooooo-Hoooooo. Got there at last!!!!!

When I brought a mini version of the map up it had a balloon correctly placed, which I could put the cursor onto. Result!!

That's interesting Bookertoo, mine is in a raised bed with lovely soft soil facing east & getting lots of sun. Maybe where I bought it from had similar conditions to you, so for them it was small.

I click on the balloon symbol & the balloon immediately appears on the map just above the symbol - right near the top so can only see a tiny bit of it. So first I zoom in the map & put my area so it's just above the symbol, click the symbol, voila! I'm on the map. But I can't click on the ballon to add detail, it moves about, if I close it & go back in then the balloon's not there. This is sooooooo frustrating; I'm not much at the pc but it appears to be easy from what most people are saying & I just want to be able to do it!!!

I bought a pretty variegated leafed plant described just as "small, variegated" at a yellow book garden I think, last year. Went to so many, don't know where it came from!! A couple or so weeks ago I noticed variegated leaves starting to poke through - 1 by the label; 1 a foot to the right; 1 a foot behind & 1 was about 2 foot to the left.

I did some investigative digging - oh dear!! I just pulled up all the roots that I could & removed some of the other plants to safety. I'm now waiting for the leaves to look nice & plumptious before dabbing them with glyphosate.

Recently I came across a comment by Helen Yemm the gardener & writer having a bit of a rant about the fact that variegated ground elder was on sale. If this one had been accurately labelled then I wouldn't have bought it & didn't realise the significance of the leaf shape at the time.

No, I'm not in the sea either, or on a trawler or flying the Atlantic........ I'm still not yet anywhere - how do I stop the balloon flying to either of the poles??

Every time I click onto the balloon it zooms either so it falls off the northernmost or the southernmost edge of the map. The map moves rapidly & is unstoppable!!

I set out the jeyes-teabags a couple of weeks ago, at a "cat's width path" down the side of the house & it seemed to stop them. This afternoon Mower Man saw the ginger cat emerge from the sideway - maybe it doesn't have a sense of smell .

Time for more "medicine" I think!!

Hi Verd, we have that Bosch rechargeable & OH (aka "Mower Man") is very pleased with it. He can just about cut all the grass if there's very little to come off, so he usually does part then recharges over lunch, then finishes.

He does have 1 gripe, though - there's no indicator when the power gets low - it just dies "mid-stripe!!" We looked at the cost of a spare battery ....... so didn't get one!
