My hubby says he wants a "nymph surprised while bathing" for the garden (he is only joking!) I said if he got that I'd clothe it with an old coat & wooly hat.

Sam - what about tablet? Much better than the chewy fudge!! It's sooo sweet. If you take a bite then a drink of tea it's as if you've put sugar in the tea.

What's the weather like in your area?

Yesterday the rain started about 4pm, then turned sleety , then snowy.  Woke up this morning & there was 2-3" of it, but none on the roads or paths. It's been coming down ever since, but also it's melting.  Temp is about 4c & in the shed it's 8c.

Oh well perhaps it was too sunny for too long!!

Good Evening FORKERS

I think the frustration's caused by having 2-3 weeks of sunny days, (tho' sometimes very frosty overnight) & yesterday had been so warm.

It will probably be lovely tomorrow too, as I've got to go out in the afternoon!! (Can I say "bu**er" Verdun if that's the case??)

For lots of dark hair - laser.

Got done about 10-12 years ago, expensive & painful (may be a different type now) but glad I got it done, especially underarms.  Sorry, getting a bit personal now!!

B***dy weather!!

Yesterday was GLORIOUS  & we had to be somewhere indoors but today when we had all day free it started cloudy which turned to heavy rain this pm (& now snow!!)

We got 2 bits of trellis attached to the fence then gave up.

I think we got too used to the sun; was expecting more of the same!

Carrots in tubs

I'm not normally a veg grower but am planning to grow carrots in tubs with my little grandaughter this year.

Depending on the height of your grand-daughter you will probably need quite a deep tub!!!

Manure is probably not a good idea - she'll probably prefer something like Smarties or a bar of chocolate......

(Sorry, I'll get my coat.....)

They certainly covered a lot of topics.

Was good to see Chris Beardshaw presenting; don't think I've seen him doing that since he was on GW when Alan Tichmarsh presented it.

Mind you it was good to see Chris Beardshaw full stop!!!   I'm with Busy-Lizzie there.

I haven't yet peeped under the deep mulch of my ones in the garden, but the ones in a pot in the garage seem to have survived.  Hopefully!
