Flowering quince

Posted: 26/04/2013 at 21:35

Hi, I'm looking for a flowering quince to plant on a north-facing wall. I am looking for a thornless variety as I have a young child. Someone has suggested the 'Storm' range but has anyone any idea where I can get these from?  Or has anyone else got an idea of an alternative?

Thanks in advance

Hi all,

I would like some houseplants in my conservatory which gets very cold in the winter and obviously very hot in the summer. Can anyone recommend a suitable abutilon please?  Thanks in advance

Talkback: Field bindweed

Digging bindweed does actually work, although it seems like a never-ending job, especially when the roots are so easily broken. I started digging it out 2 years ago and this year I have seen a significant improvement - I can see why successful gardeners are patient people!
