Bind weed

Oh dear, not a short job ! if you find that the Bindweed is traveling through plants,eg in the border, try putting in some sticks or something for the Bindweed to climb up,then do some homework on a weedkiller that works on the leaves, take care if you use a spray ,don't use if it is windy, you may kill something that you want to keep. This is a job for quite sometime, so keep your cool.

Euphorbia

Any dealings with Euphorbia please wear gloves,they have a white fluid,which can cause skin problems.
i usually just tidy the plants up, if you just want the flowers lifted,put a plant support under the flower heads .

Identify a weed please

Until you become more expert at identifing what they are... keep them in an area which you have marked out, so even if you dont know the names, at least they should out number the WEEDS

tea bags

I have used teabags in compost bins, bottom of pots.....helps with water retention, straight on the garden , bags broken or left whole, and any left over tea use to water acid loving plants. go on be a devil.

I can't even grow from seed!!!!!!!

Try easier seeds untill you get more experience.

Well all i can say is Thank you very much,
My need to know is,I visit The Gambia at least once/twice a year, Although they grow many types of fruit.... Banana,Pineapple,Papya , Orange,Lemon, etc but NO Apples,so the only Apples some of the people have tried are imported ones and as one of the poorest countries in Africa,not available to many, if i could take a few suitable trees out next time, may make the' smiling coast 'smile even more.

I must say dovefromabove i do the same for quite a lot of newly planted shrubs tree's etc also a great way to add feed at a later date.

My drive

What about a flame thrower, this treatment done as a 2wk "walk" up and down the drive is quite easy. These flame guns are available in gardening supermarkets.
