I would leave it till Autum, because lilac usually flower in spring, Although some may say take a chance ,as long as you prepare the ground beforehand ,and dont disturb the roots.

Potted rose in flower

you may find that if and when you repot them you have two plants, they have probably been grown indoors - -eg a supermarket or garden centre, they can stay as they are till you move, after all it is only a week.
you may find they will do better in a slightly bigger pot with compost with a mix of John Innes.

Try the good old way of using a fork or shoes with spikes on, then use sand brushed over the fine holes, keep this up for as long as you can.

Another thing to be careful of is Tap water, full of Chlorine ,a no go with fish, so use a product that takes out the Chlorine.

Why will you be using the same type of pump for a bigger pond as you did on a smaller one and it only lasted a year??

How do you oxygenate the pond???

I think a visit to a garden centre with a fish dept, the staff are very helpful and will give you great advice.

The pond weed is not algae ,It is a plant that gives off Oxygen at night, also somewhere for fish to hide and breed in.
