Dove, four day weekends are great! I work part time so always have these now, lovely way to start to start no work!

The samples look really good gardengirl have fun trying them out

Been out and bought some spring bulbs, I love them....... such an easy and cheap way to keep adding. Got some grape hycaniths and some of the two tone purple ones as well as an aldi job lot of crocus and some bare root wallflowers. When you see them in the Spring, makes you feel very happy that you spent the time planting them

Growing from seed is great, been doing it a couple of years now and it's amazing how many plants you can get from a few seeds. Learnt loads on here, so always ask the question

Noticed a few around this year. The first I saw today, at first glance I thought it was slug but it's definatley a caterpillar of some sort. It seemed to be

intent on tucking into a corncockle seed head

I've seen a lot of these on the sweet rockets, I thought they might be cabbage whites but I thought they were green?

Be good to know what they are, thanks

Hello everyone, looks like the station project is still doing well gardengirl. I like the dark wood effect when it comes to plants, think it shows off all the green and the flowers.

Heating is now back on, curtains are closed.  I don't like the darker months but I do like the changing of the seasons..............and it's raining

That is a beautiful flower, amazing colour and a great photo happymarion........ what a fantastic gift!

Where would i get one of these

Posted: 11/09/2013 at 18:29

No idea what it's called.......there's a local charity nearby that may do things like this. Bought a long handled bulb planter from them in the past. They sell and repair old donated tools but they also sell them

They are called Tools for Self Reliance Cymru
