Seeds in the house

Can you or someone you know knock up a coldframe/ small greenhouse type structure? A few bits of pallett and some thick plastic. I can't see a problem  with getting them to germinate. It's what to do with them after that, that you might run into problems with light, space and temps.

Those plants would do best out side once they are big enough, even a one of those cheap plastic greenhouses would be ok, just make sure it's weighted down.

My partner makes my frames for me, I'm still amazed at how many plants I can get out of them. Seed sowing is great, have fun

Can I move plants this weekend

It's so mild here, only had a couple of frosts so I think it would be fine to have a reshuffle of things here. It does depend on where you are

I always forget when to cut them back, some fuchsias aren't hardy. I wait until I see some green shoots then I give them a trim back

When I've had them in the past, the rust just sorts of eats away at the leaves till there's nothing left of them.  In a previous garden it was all over them, so put me off growing them again.

I have one that somehow has made to this garden. I think it might be some sort of perennial type as it's still growing and it didn't have any rust at all.

Do you mean snap dragons? If so, I don't think you can split them, stem cuttings might work, maybe?

I've left mine still standing from last year, hoping that they will self seed as I find  them tricky to grow from seed. I can see some new green growth in place already. Will cut back to that in Spring
