So far I have raised £30.00 to add to the £77.00 raised at our stall at the local gala day. Can anyone suggest best ideas for online sales to raise more funds as we need another £300.00 to cover our costs for next years speakers and their travelling expenses.

Any ideas nd suggestions welcome thanks!

I've just sown Campanula Punctata Beetroot and I hadn't thought of Campanula for that one as it looked so different from others I have in my garden. Great photos too. Many thanks!

Thanks pansyface, that's what I was thinking and I could use the space! I've given them a good feed and a talking too so I'll see how they go till August.

I planted these about 4 or 5 years ago and have managed to keep them growing but they have never flowered and are not very big either... should I keep trying or just cut my losses and get rid of them as I read they need replacing after 5 years anyway.

Idenity of Clematis please.

I do have Gipsy Queen but this one is redder so perhaps it is Niobe as the colour looks about right. Thanks all and as you say I'll enjoy it no matter what it's called.

I've had a suggestion from another forum that it might be Clematis 'Ville de Lyon'. Could that be right? I'm trying to make up a database of my plants so I can redo a border in the autumn and also trying to take cuttings from my named clematis to use on the west facing fence of the new border, so any ideas would be of help.

Can anyone identify this Clematis please? It was in my garden when I moved here. I t grows to a height of at least  2 and 1/2 metres or about 9 feet and has beautiful large flowers. It is full of buds at the moment and some are just starting to open.
