Morning, all. Wind has blown all the clouds away, it's 8* in the sunshine, and I'm going out in the forest to look for a little tree. My niece is coming here for the day, otherwise I wouldn't bother.

Much ado about nothing, as expected.

One week's worth per box--stage 1. Then 4 weeks at stage 2, same at stage 3.

Thanks, folks--the true test will come over the holiday season-going to keep it to 5 until Jan 1--then cold turkey. I will have the patch for that--here it's free. 4 boxes arrived yesterday, but I'm saving them.

You are all in fine form--but I have rather lost the plot. Need to catch up.

And those Santa pictures are burning my eyeballs. Much prefer the beefcake!

Gone for a day--and look what happens!!!

Board is unrecognizable. When the dog's away, the elves will play, I guess--or are they gremlins?

Antibiotics taking hold now; feel better. There is even a hint of sun after yesterday's deluge. Down to 5 smokes a day, and have lost 6 lbs in the last month. Soon I will be so healthy noone will recognise me; might change my name too!!!

Morning, all--another miserable day here. But not freezing and no floods, so it could be worse.

I have had an abcessed tooth blow up overnight--thankfully I already had a Dr's appt for this afternoon to have a no-smoking aid prescribed----and luckily my friend had some painkillers and is going to town tomorrow, and can pick up prescriptions. I got down to 7 smokes yesterday.

Trying to get enthusiastic about Xmas--my neice wants to come here, so I will probably have a small tree---no turkey, though, as she is a vegetarian.

Well, good night to you--not even noon here on a rainy blustery day. Just went outside to discover a clematus montana ripped right out of the ground--probably by a raccoon trying to get at the compost, blast her eyes! Have reburied it-fingers crossed!

Dean---a seven hour presentation??????????Hard to imagine--unless a large part of it is hands-on.Nonetheless, it seems like more than one evening's work, even for Superman!
