Waitrose garden

I get your drift M Fent, but they maybe trying to get Waitrose customers as they tried with Tesco customers being tempted to use Tesco CC vouchers.......lots of psychology, don't you think?

PS Is any one else having trouble with "spell check" on this site?

Waitrose garden

Hi, looks like the Waitrose/Crocus venture is the second supermarket venture as recently they started selling "garden" stuff on Tesco's DIRECT site. The CROCUS site with Tesco is the same as the one on the Waitrose site. I suppose since supermarkets are muscling in on the GCs it is a good way to reach more customers.

I see that AT is fronting this venture too.(He does T&M catalogue and B&Q too.)

It  will be interesting to see if there will be any comments about him, similar to ones about MD

picking primroses

Posted: 31/03/2013 at 11:21

Hi Dovefromabove, thank you for the link highlighting the laws pertaining to picking wild flowers. It seems that it is "lets pick on MD......" at the moment and makes me feel sad. And yes, he was talking about picking primroses as a boy! It's pretty obvious that it was a long time ago. So Robert, we are ALL down in the dumps at the moment, but surely picking on others is not going to make it better; is it?

Today's dilemma

You make me smile Red Dhalia. It reminds me of when I got my first garden (this one) 40 years ago. I felt like I was in a gardeners' paradise! My OH was very keen to contribute and used to arrive home with gifts for 'our' garden, some very inappropiate! He even went wild with the hoe and destroyed the young plants with the weeds Luckily the enthusiasm wore off very quickly as things did not happen fast enough

I am sure your man loves the garden too so do encourage him and give him lots of things to do(that you do not like) and you will have plenty of free time to top up on your tan etc.ENJOY.

I use Firefox Alan, and as Sotongeoff says; find it easy to use. It also has useful ADDONS which are fun to use and help with security and stop ads. The "customer help" is very friendly and easy to use.

OMG......GG, I wouldn't pay tuppence for them. As Lyn says, they grow wild and I have plants (larger than 2") which you are welcome to.I have 4 colours and you can keep them small by pruning them , which makes them bushy and you get more flowers for the birds and bees. If you live in Surrey, give us a shout.

what do u think this might be
