I agree Mark, I found some good plants in supermarkets, never mind in GSs or in P&P offers but we are seduced by the psycology used in ads!

What is this bush?

To each his own Verdun, I love the "bunches" of berries in their caylaxes are sooo dainty, a touch of lovely purple this time of the year.Plus the birds love them, especially the black biirds. But I do agree that it seeds everywere! I don't know which is worst, these or Rowen seedlings. Thankfully they are easy to dig up.

Oblelixx is right Sara4,I grow them every year by a pergola near the house, which gives them warm and shelter to a degree. They come in lilac and white and after making rapid growth they flower their their socks off from now till the frosts blacken them. The flowers last for a few days turning darker as they age. I have tried digging up the plant and over wintering in the house but without success. I have been threatening to stop growing them in the last bad summer when the cuttings have not performed as the seeds are quite expensive! But capituclate when I see the beautiful exortic looking flowers as once the plant has warmth and sun it needs little care.So enjoy!

Yes, result at last. Thank you Daniel, I was not aware of your special E-mail address. What a pity that  a particular forum member chose to abuse me verbally without reading my posting as you did; and replying.

It is not Daniels' problem, but he is with GW and they advertise T&M products. Buyers are seduced to buy from them thru' association as they trust GW. But only once, if they go back to them after bad customer service; then it is their own responsibility. This is my humble opinion.

Thank you KT53, this problems have been highlighted before on this forum and the same questions asked, but Daniel has chosen to ignore them. That is my point.

Yes, buy them. It's my favourite time of the year for GC bargins to stock up on things I need or get ready for next spring. You will be surprised at what is reduced to make space.

Are T&M having a laugh!

Hi Daniel Haynes, fancy you responding.......I'm surpriced, as other forum members and I have asked the same questions as Perseka and  Patrevlil and you have not bothered to comment. What has changed now for you to do so. I do not think it is OK to accept bad customer service just because the offer is "free" products for only P&P. After all, in theory they are trying to get rid of surplus stock. As long as we are prepared to accept it they will not change their attitude. We as a nation, put up with it which encourages these firms to take advantage. The only way is to stop giving them our money, which will hit their profits.
