Quite pretty and may have come from the bird seed hanging above. is it friend or foe ?

1. Golden Hop

2. Spirea

3. Sedum Spectabile

4. ?

5. Crocosmia Lucifer

6. Cotonester of some sort

7. camellia- needs ericaceous food-it's starving

8. Bay tree- yes you can cook it !

yes Gillygee- I have them everywhere but they are nice but not at the front of the border ! Mind you everything in my garden self seeds and I'm forever picking out seedlings !!I guess I should dead head more often but things like teasels are so nice to keep over the winter and then I have to suffer the consequences !

Yes i agree the first one is Fatsia Japonica. It grows quite tall and wide.
Could do with a better photo of the 'chives' one.

Thanks nutcutlet and fidgetbones, I'm glad its not a weed. Its great for height but does self seed a bit too readily. I'll look out for the pink one!
