thank you all for your advice. As it's going to be a flower border, I think I'll refrain from a dry stone wall after reading your comments about slugs etc. I'll need to re think my project and do more research into border edging. Maybe consider the Flexi edging.

I have been thinking about creating a new border and considering what border edging would be best. Has anyone built a curved dry stone wall as edging for a slightly raised flower bed? Where would I get the stones from and how difficult is building a dry stone low wall? Any advice?

I need to edge my borders when the weather improves a little. What, in you experience, is tge best edging? It would need to be quite flexible as some of my borders are curvy. I look forward to reading about your ideas and suggestions.

I'm wondering whether anyone hs any advice about changing the shape of lawns. I feel that our lawn looks a boring, shapeless, green space. It needs a defined shape. Has anyone created circular lawns? I was thinking about creating three circles with gravel arond the circles. What would your advice be?

I planted a climbing honeysuckle last May on a north fence. It did very well initially, but I read that honeysuckle roots dislike getting too hot, therefore I piled pebbles over its root area. It did ok for a few weeks although it didn't grow much over my trellis. Then all the leaves fell in August and it looked as if I was losing it. I decided to leave it to see. It has some buds on it now in January. Does this mean that it may revive this year, in its second year. I would love to have it cover my trellis. What else could I do to help my honeysuckle thrive? Any advice?
