Okay thanks for that,  will try to be more patient! I have moved them to the cold frame so they'll be a bit cooler.

Instead of sowing straight into the ground, I have sown these seeds in trays in an unheated greenhouse.  So far only 3 osteospernum and 1 scabious has emerged! Any ideas please? Could they be too warm if they're meant to be sown outside?

I have the same problem!  I planted mine originally in the garden but only one or two flowered, this year i planted them in a pot (when Monty did on GW) but no flowers at all! will wait and see but if no flowers appear i don't think i'll bother with them again, there's plenty of other plants to try

I have had the same problem, always grown Cosmos with great results but this year they have either shrivelled up and died, or those that have lived look very sad and not flowering well at all, despite doing nothing different from previous years.  Oh well, try again next year!
