honeysuckle???

I have a Serotina and a Dropmore Scarlet climbing over the arch - they only get a few hours sun every day but both seem to flower well

Bunny - I thought Henryi was a clematis ?   I have him growing on the trellis

Hi Chris, I was thinking about the bulbs this morning and was thinking of messaging you to see if yours had arrived. Now I know.  Hopefully mine will arrive soon now. When I spoke to Tracy, she advised me to wrap the bulbs in sphagnum moss before planting and said they were challenging. On a plus note. she said if they failed , she would replace them.

Lets hope for the best.

Everybody seems busy today except me , I'm busy doing nothing.

Rain gone off now. Just as well. Don't want OH electrocuting himself whilst messing with water feature - need him to do some digging.

Cobaea

Posted: 16/03/2013 at 09:31

I've grown cobaea every year. I start them off in individual pots and then transplant them and in my experience they don't require any special treatment. Mine germinate every year.

Last year they all failed miserably due to the lack of sun and all the excessive rain we had here in West Lancs so this year I'm giving them a miss.

I've just started some Canary creeper which aren't as fussy as the cobaea and I'm hoping for a better Summer this year along with everyone else.

Morning forkers.  By the sound of it , I missed a good party  Laptop went weird yesterday and wouldn't start windows.

Think it's ok now.

Raining here - just in time for OH to have another go at the electrics on the water feature.

My buckets overfloweth - plenty of rainwater for my little carnivores now

Hi Bev.

Afties  Cheese on toast here - no tom sauce.

Everyone's been busy I see . Haven't been outside as by the time the frost went, the rain came. Sort of glad in a way - rainwater supplies are severely depleted now but hope it goes tomorrow.

Geoff- my seed box is nothing to do with a jock-box !  Just a big tin box where I keep my seeds . I also keep my dibber in there.  Glad to see you're safe and sound from the roof.

I think most of the bank people need shredding including all the ones that pay themselves big fat bonuses.

Morning forkers. A lot to catch up on . Hope everyone who's feeling poorly are a little better today.

Happy Birthday Inka

You can keep the tom sauce - give me marmite any day.

Love the jokes, Sue  How's the hand ?

What to do today then ? Bright sunshine here but a big frost  so don't think I'll be venturing outside. Maybe later on today. Think I'll have a look in the seed box.

Goods news on the car Becks.

That sounds painful. Hope you both get sorted out with Docs.

Back from shops. Nothing too exciting but did manage to get 6 Martguerita daisies plug plants from Aldi - £1 99  Also went to H/bargains to investigate the seed disk situation and they have the hanging basket ones back in .

This is it.

Right - off to sow the coleus. Thanks for all the comments about growing them. Feel a little more confident about them now.
