What's the weather like in your area?

Great day here in Lancs - bit of rain this morning but cloud coming in now . Just checking weather for next few days and it doesn' t look good . Jet-stream back.

Back in now - cherrytree decimated but think it'll be better for it next year . No wound seal left so hope it'll be ok . Took me 2 hours to do all houseplants - all different feeds , deadheading flowering ones and generally sprucing them up . Labour of love though.

Geoff , I also grew one of THOSE plants years ago - purely for interest . I haven't got a rubberplant. Had a cheese plant years ago but gave it away. It grew too big.

Gary meant to says thanks for links ( am still investigating Birch/ snowball bush.)

Kate I haven't checked any lottery yet so may be able to help you out. There are 65 unclaimed tickets. Maybe, just maybe ..... Hello to everyone else and bad news - the jet-stream is back so we all know what that means. Snorkels at the ready !!!!

Don't think it is really - Just made me laugh when I saw it ! Haven't a clue really but sure someone will help you out. I know what you mean about feeding the birds - I had to re-position mine. All sorts of weird and and wonderful stuff growing underneath the feeders.

Please can somebody ID this plant?

Sorry but I'm on Higgy's team . I've got '' shaggy '' and for some reason it's done better than ever this year - loads of flowers. Going to google jumbo hole -never heard of . I use fish, blood and bone everywhere at the beginning of the season - maybe they got a bit more than others. Strange things afoot in the garden this year , had a clematis that came back from the dead and have some oddities growing.

Maybe all the rain .

I woke up with BIG thirst - must be bbq. We didn't have pudding- ate too much. Thanks for explaining that Kate - going to watch the rest today. Saw Mike Oldfield though. Thought the N. H. S. bit was really good - had small cry probally due to 2 glasses of wine - I just can't drink anymore -must be an age thing We have a little rain but got grass cut yesterday so not to bothered . Big job breaking out today. We are going to take some branches off the weeping cherry . It got blossom wilt so I got rid of that and now it's lopsided so it's getting chopped. Houseplants need sorting as well . Geoff, what house plants have you got ? remember you saying you had jungle plants.

Jenny I'm sure everything will be ok - just glad it's only the car . Pam - you deserve your sleep - must have been really traumatic for you.

Just finished bbq - my special sausage really tasty ! Just caught up with the opening ceremony I thought it was brilliant - but need to know what the bronze teardrops are.

There is a hibiscus which is hardy and can live outside but mines the chinese one - I keep it in conservatory. Poor old Mark - no gold for us then. Bbq warming up lovely evening. Off to prepare salad. Kate - have you pinched it out ?

Kate - you won't believe me but I think it's incense sticks . We let them burn in the pot (avoiding the plant! ) Maybe they remind it of home ! Got a nice bottle of something cold in fridge so won't be attending church . I agree with the feeding of children - with my lot anything green is deemed as poison.
