I'm with Bunny - Johnson's blue  Mainly because they are a bee magnet. I've got some pink ones on the go at the mo but they aren't named - £ Land specials . Will post picks when they flower . Maybe an expert will identify them for me.

Afties / Evening  Very productive day and only just come in . 2 more borders to go and I'll nearly be sorted. Dogs tooth violets looking well - all through so just top dressed the pots and had a good weed and hoe. May do some more seeds tonight or may not. Didn't take Gary's advice so I'm aching everywhere so going to immerse myself with my friend Mr Radox.

So sorry about puss but sometimes it's the kindest thing. One of ours was 18 when it happened to us but we have some happy memories .

I've got nothing to bring to the picnic  Far too nice to go shopping so have got the begging bowl out  Sharies ?

Morning Glyn and Gary, Back to it today  No frost here and the beginning of a lovely day.

Starting some more seeds off today and hopefully weeding the rockery.

It seems like ages since we had the R word - my supplies are running a bit low but have got enough for my carnivorous plants for now.

Have a happy gardening day , forkers.

Morning all. Stiff legs today. Must be all that walking around yesterday . Feel the need for a very large coffee. Need to get motivated.

Watched the meteor programme last night - fascinating stuff . Glad Gary mentioned it and then Oh and son had political debate.

At that point , I went to bed.

Afternoon forkers   Well didn't manage to wriggle out of it so no gardening done again Bumble bee border still the same as last week but plan to have a good bash this week. Sort of enjoyed Liverpool - the Liver Buildings and the waterfront. A lot has changed since I last visited but a lot busier than I expected. To be honest not somewhere I would choose to go for a day out but it's done now. Son enjoyed himself which was the main reason we went.

Thr pictures of everyone's gardens look lovely ,  Not taking any photos of mine yet until it looks a bit better.

If you are still around, Chris - have the taccas come yet ? Still waiting for mine.

Morning  Grey and overcast here today - no frost though.

Lost - absolutely loved it although I got a little lost myself and true to my handle , I guessed the ending. Stick with it Becks.

Watched Skyfall last night and thoroughly enjoyed it - Was a bit miffed though. Didn't see any clips of Daniel Craig in speedos. Suppose Geoff will have to do.

Late brekkie for me  - consumed far too much chocolate last night .

Son wants to go Liverpool today and as he's car - less at the moment we have been roped into taking him. (Well, Oh has - no way I would drive there ) Not particularly looking forward to it - not keen on busy places and large towns.

Going to see if I can wriggle out of it and try catch up on some jobs outside. Here's hoping.

Have a good day forkers.

Wilting Geraniums:(

I re-potted all mine 2 weeks ago and stiil haven't watered them. Think the water holds in new compost and also as Bookertoo says they do like to be kept on the dry side.

Will be giving all mine a dose of salts in a couple of weeks time. Epsoms that is.  Does wonders for leaf colouration and healthy plants.
