Morning  Lovely sunny day here - none of the ''s'' word so will be getting outside when it warms up and then some more pricking out .

Why is it when you discipline yourself to sowing half a packet of seeds, you get millions of plants regardless ?

Have a good day everyone.

Morning - just  Have been busy last couple of days. Water feature up and running and the other one now in rockery all sorted - just needs planting now.

Just found a little dead mouse in one of the buckets that had melted snow in cos I was out of rainwater.

More pricking out today. I enjoy that

Need to catch up on all the posts - Hope everyone's well and warm.

What annuals can I sow for summer colour?

Ryan, I've bought lots of seeds from £ land over the years. Nought wrong with them.  Best bargain ever was a couple of years ago - a packet of nasturstiums with 6 different varieties in them.

The only problem being I've got them forever now  No matter how many seed pods I collect. I get more and more each year. Good job I like them.

Aldi's good for seeds as well - got some Nigella for 89p

Has war been declared in my absence ?  Just got back from shopping - no Easter eggs left in our local shopping centre so popped in Asda . BAD MISTAKE ! Every man and his dog was in there with trolleys piled high, plenty of beige and enough food to sustain a small army.  It's open tomorrow . ALL DAY !!!!

Rant over.

I'm off to construct a large piece of cake.

Well done on posting that thread, Geoff.

What Is Going On With Site??

I agree with all the above - I'm not techno- minded at all so don't want to start messing around.

It took me 3 months to post a link.

Dahlias - no matter what I do, they always end up as slug fodder.

Even tried to grow them in pots.

Morning everyone, Bright and sunny here.  Hoping it stays like that. Just checked my coleus and they are well away - first time I've grown them so hoping they are successful. Also hoping that the weather is OK at weekend so OH can finish what's been started in the new border.

Hope all is ok with Oscar. Bjay probally just a cold but best to get him checked over.

Off to shops now as I haven't got enough Easter eggs - hoping there's some left.

I think we should all bombard Daniel with e-mails as to what is going on with the site. Still not receiving e-mails and getting fed up with it now.

what do u think this might be

Alan - looks like a chrysalis of some form to me  - It might a butterfly or a pretty moth.

I could possibly be wrong though but I wouldn't worry about keeping it warm , they usually survive regardless.
