Dracunculus vulgaris Dragon arum

Posted: 15 March 2014
Overall: I have some of them, and they re-bloom quite easily. The flowers give off a powerful stench of dung and carrion. Don't plant it near your windows ; but it's definitely a must-have for fans of unusual and exotic flowers.

Arum creticum Arum

Posted: 15 March 2014
Overall: Well, A. creticum is in bloom actually, grown in a pot in my garden. Unlike what I usually read (and, hence, what I expected), it smells a little bit like most others Arums (like A. italicum, maculatum or dioscoridis), but with a sweeter tone.
