hi daniel... seems I am not the only one with loading photo problems.. yes it was jpg..but what is file extension... I click on file upload to web in smallest format & then click select on your box.. too big... maybe as soo many of us are having problems the upload on your site needs possibly looking at...all I can think of...

sounds like they are running tunels under the patio.. is it slabs..if so then lift some to destroy eggs/queen..  watch when they fly too as it is queens looking for new nest.. stamp on them...

I`m having probs uploading photo too... size is 9279 byte... 96 x 128 pixel but still says its too big to load...!!!! ;-(

I have a plant in garden that I must have bought few yrs ago & this year flowered..dont no wot it is though...tried many times making photo smaller but still says its too 9279 byte... 96 x 128 pixels.. thats smallest I can do... any ideas please

the plant has long thin leaves with crop of floweres on top which are a lighter green

I too have carnations & last year was my best... being in east anglia again the soil is heavy plus I found they like sun/shade.. now I have finally found the best place I have managed to take cutting last yr which are growing... one idea as mine are now in a large pot while other garden stuff going on & they are fine.. is to somehow get some heavier soil & pot them then sink into garden...

Privet hedge dying

I have a habit of if i like a hedge on my travels I nip abit off (cple of bits maybe) then strip lower leaves / cut in half top leaves so more energy for cutting then simply stuff into a small part of garden & leave it can do loads of them... thus get young hedge plants. good luck

ps.cutting is about 3/4 inches..cutting put in upto small space below top leaves

you really answered your own question... you live near farmland...could be from manure etc..not sure how but as it is soo bad maybe you need to report it to enviromental health & ask what you can do.. good luck
