pretty disapointed...have tried so many times over the yrs to no avail...BUT this yr I thought whoopee... had them in a pot covered with plastic pot.. all started to grow but now they have gone black.. what is i am not doing right..

I have tried numerous times to have a small water feature since filling in the pond that I could`nt manage anymore... no matter what I land up inundated with midges so get rid of it before i get eaten to death... anyone got idea to help with this..

definately into a nice border ... I always dig a hole ready ..water hole with torn up newspapers in as it acts as feed plus holds water for awhile..then plant rose ..I always go for semi shade..as with the hotter summers we have i have found some of mine get leaves burnt...

whatever it is lets hope you manage to grow one & show us next year ...I love growing from seed even if i dont know.. the excitement of the end product..good luck..

am afraid we will never know as today(23 july) these micro catterpillars like bits if cotton had all moved..saw one on ledge with magnifying glass...

Ahhhhh.. so unfortunately as its in my kitchen I had no option but to spray.

not sure till i load if pic is there...these eggs are on my inside kitchen wondow..I did see a lacewing few nights back sitting there ..they were in a tight bunch but noticed today tiny strips like this( - ) are splitting off it..hmmm will keep you informed..
